So, this one was honestly... just for practice. I don't usually do 'happy' manips with bright colors. But I don't want to be labeled as that "artist who just does dark, depressing manips based on sad songs."

I wanted to get out of that category for once, so here it is.

I chose this song to go with the image, because it is basically about someone who is very independent, bold, and doesn't really care about what anybody thinks. And as you can see, the horse is bright... jubilant... free... and happy. She calls the shots

Or you can just interpret it however you wish xD (You should go listen to the song - the lyrics are good ;3)

Technicalities? Smudged the horse, cut him out, did the mane and tail... (I'll have you know that I am not pleased with the mane at all. I don't know, it just doesn't look right x__x)

Put the horse on the background, adjusted colors, blended hooves into water + added splashes. (I actually don't think the splashes are horrible, though. Considering that I was working with Photoshop 5.5, so I couldn't use any water/splash brushes. I had to cut the splashes out xD)

And that's it, I think.
